Prakash Nikki is a music director associated with south Indian film industry. He  made his debut as a music composer through Jiiva’s Rowthiram, which was later dubbed in Telugu as Roudram. The spellbinding track “Maalai Mangum Neram ” from this movie was among the most popular songs of the year. Lyrics for this mesmerising song was penned by lyricist Thamarai.

As a composer who emphasizes quality than quantity, in year 2016, He worked on his second movie, a horror-thriller, Kalam. Both Rowthiram and Kalam were received appreciations from music critics for the outstanding songs and BGMs. Other than movies, Nikki also composed official anthem for the 11th Chennai International Film festival in year 2013 and worked on number of advertisements and couple of Walt Disney projects. According to Nikki, as a musician it's an honour to work on such prestigious projects which gave him memorable and different composing experience.

Prakash started his musical journey as young as six at Palakad, Kerala. He learned Carnatic music, western music and completed his Piano studies under the syllabus of Trinity College London (TCL). He then began doing music arrangements as a sound engineer and worked as a keyboard player for few notable music composers.

Prakash Nikki aims to experiment various music styles with the touch of unique Indian classical music and instruments to give the best to all his music fans through his upcoming movies.
